Erickson Advantage Earns 5 Star CMS Quality Rating for 2016 H-5652

The 5-Star Quality Rating System for Medicare Advantage Plans is a program that measures overall health plan performance. It's administered by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that oversees Medicare.

The 5 Star Rating system uses more than 50 quality measures considering such things as preventive care, managing chronic conditions, member satisfaction, customer service, and pharmacy services. Based on CMS findings, each plan is assigned a rating between 1 and 5 stars:

Erickson Advantage has earned the 5 Star CMS Quality Rating for Part C and Part D benefits for 2016 which is the highest rating a health plan can receive. Of the 369 Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug plans rated for 2016 just 12 plans received a five star rating.*
